MTI shower bases and shower enclosures are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TEN YEARS fromt he date of purchase to the original purchaser. This warranty does not apply to products used in commerical or multi-family dwellings.
This warranty excludes:
- Any obligation other than replacement of defective parts,when presented to the selling distributor, together with proof of purchase, during the warranty period
- Any labor charges, removal or reinstallation expense, freight or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defective product
- Products classified as “accessories”
- Normal wear and tear
- Modification
- Improper installation, care or maintenance of the product
- Use of the product for any purpose or in any manner other than for which it is specifically intended
- Improper use and maintenance contrary to the use and care instructions
This warranty supersedes any and all other warranties, express or implied. The foregoing warranties are exclusive and made only to the buyer. No other warranty,whether expressed, implied or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose shall exist in connection with any of the warranties on behalf of MTI in addition to or different from those herein given, or to assume for MTI any other liability in connection with any of its products except in a written statement which is signed by an officer of MTI expressly and intentionally giving such warranties or expressing such liabilities.

I was somewhat skeptical ordering a tub/shower enclosure over the Internet, sight unseen, especially one which was so competitively priced. Well, the product arrived in excellent shape, on time, and exceeded my expectation as to its quality and looks. The installation instructions were very clear and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.
A word of caution, the enclosure is a new thing to us. It is in a guest bathroom. Having used it, you might get some water on the floor at the end of the tub where you enter, unless you are careful when you shower. If you're going to install it in a high traffic bathroom or one where caution is not used, it might be best to install a complete shower door.
And while the instructions are clear as to installation, it is a two person job, due to the weight of the unit itself.
Having said that, I would buy it again in a second.
It arrived on-time and in great shape.

I have to be honest, we haven't actually installed this yet. I purchased it because when we re-do our tub soon, I wanted this kind of door. On a trip to Sweden, this was what the hotel had in their bathrooms and I loved it!
It has a squeegee on the bottom of the panel that fits snug against the flat top of the tub wall. You don't even need to swing it open to get into the tub/shower, swing it open for cleaning the tub or bathing small children.
Right now, our tub has a full sliding door that slides open from either end. It may have worked well at one time, but over the years, the tracks have gotten all gummed up. The door jumps the tracks alot, which then leaves the door stuck open or closed.
With this new door/enclosure, we will install a "rain" type shower head that will point straight down. This should lessen the amount of water that can end up spraying outside of the tub with a regular adjustable showerhead or a hand-held shower.
