Disappointed with quality

We have owned this sink for about 4 years now and one year after installation we started seeing hairline cracks forming around the drain. Gradually those cracks turned darker and darker. They also started forming on the top of the sink near the faucet even though nothing is being placed there to cause the cracks such as puddling of water etc. We're wondering if this is a defect. We didn't expect this kind of quality for the price we paid. We love the look of the sink. It goes very well with our farmhouse and is the focal point in our bathroom.

Wonder if these products were seconds????This item represented the second attempt for us - both #1 and #2 had a slight defect in the glaze. I decided that the third time might not be the charm, chose to make do and enjoy the great price I received, hopefully no one will notice.
