Matching matters. While the function of a drain cover could have functioned with the chrome cover that came with the drain, the glaring difference between the chrome and the antique brushed pewter of the other fittings in the room were objectionable. This was the only place that I found a match, and it ended up being a perfect match. Matching really does matter.
