Grab Bars can be damaged by rings and other objects. Scratches to the surface of a polished brass piece, in particular, might impeach the protective finish. An impeached surface could tarnish or discolor. For guaranteed durability in polished brass we reccommend PVD (physical vapor deposition) Brass available in 12", 16", 18" and 24" Chelsea Grab bars series.
Grab Bars have been tested to withstand loads mandated by the American with Disabilities Act & ASTM F446. It is the responsibility of the professional installer to ensure that the mounting area is secure and the proper mounting hardware is used.

Comments about Ginger 32'' Grab Bar - 664:
I'm using a 24" grab bar in the shower/tub and am using this 32" as a towel bar adjacent the bathroom sink.
Most towel bars are flimsy! This bar is sturdy (sized to screw into the studs) and matches the decor in the bathroom well.
For a towel bar it's a bit expensive. But, it sure looks nice and works well!! It's wider than most towel bars...and holds more towels and bigger ones!
