With a large family we are heavy users,But the main reason that i bought it was for the small amount of water and energy that it uses.Living with a dry well not public sewer i was always reminded of the old washer using 50+gallons a load.But i was amazed at how little this one uses,And it does a great job getting our clothes clean.We love it.

My Wife & I just bought a townhouse in AZ, so water consumption is very important! Being Energy Star rated also is important, as we conserve the most we can, we even use LED lights which use 1/10 the power of the compact floresents!

At first I was concerned, as it would put in a little water, and start to spin, then stop, add some more water, and then spin the other way, but that is normal!

It does a good job at cleaning, and drying the clothes, so far we have only filled it half way (according to it, as it weighs each load, and then lets you put in the appropreate amount of soap, we use the regular laundry soap from Melaleuca because it is toxic free! but only use half the amount, works good for us so far (2 weeks)

There are so MANY options, as too wash cycles, it is GREAT! I built a 15" high platform for it out of 2 X 6's which was alot cheaper than the cute little stand they sell for it!

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivered to Tucson by Yellow freight, they then gave it to another company, as they don't deliver out where we live in the desert, it took this other company almost a week to get it to us, and to speed things up, I took my truck and met them coming from Tucson in order to get it 3 days sooner!

The box had a small gash in it at the bottom, but no damage to the washer, it was packed very well! You need to pick up the washer off from the styrofoam base (once the sides are off) as there is a block that goes up inside to support the motor.

My Wife & I were able to get it out of the truck by ourselves.

I haven't had any problems and love that is saves water and doesn't tear up my clothes.

Service & Delivery comments:

Product arrived in good condition.
However, I would not use front door delivery service again. Mistake on our part. The washer was going to the second floor and we had a very challenging time getting it up the stairs and ended up denting it on the way. It would have been worth the extra money to have delivery men deliver it to where it was going to go.

This machine is really easy to use. You can either select your settings each time you use it or program it for settings you like. It weighs the load and determines the wash time.

It is really quiet and the direct drive virtually eliminates vibration.
