The washer is versatile in terms of different settings for verious types of clothes. It has special settings for delicates, and for "power wash" for extra dirty clothes. I bought this machine as a gift for my mom. She has a limited laundry space and has to purchse smaller than average washer/dryers. When visiting in November she was so frustrated with the inefficient machine that she had and was only able to do small loads. I went online and purchased this for her as a gift. She LOVES it!! I'm now her favorite child of her eight offsprings . . . at least for now. I also have one in my condo. It's a high-quality machine, environmentally friendly and is easy on your clothes.
