This is a great product, not every kitchen uses a small 24" range hood, but mine does because of an oversize window installed in the kitchen. It is very hard to find a good model, and this zephyr range hood is excellent. I can't say enough about it's quality, and I am very pleased.

Our contractor installed this for us, so I can't comment on its ease of installation. It is very sleek and attractive, and I love the idea of being able to put the filters in the dishwasher. However, I would not say that the 3-speed fan is quiet. In fact, the noise level seems to be the same no matter what speed it is set to. And the light bulbs... The bulbs burn out after a couple of hours of use. I have a friend who also purchased this same hood, and has had the same problem. We have both been sent replacement bulbs, and someone from Zephyr even came out and installed new "light sockets" for my friend, but the light bulbs continue to burn out.
Bottom line; it's sleek, but it's noisy and the light bulbs burn out.
