Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this range hood as a replacement for a 30-year-old range hood and it has updated the appearance of my kitchen in a major way. A contractor had to install it because it is really designed for a 9-10 ft. ceiling and I have an 8 ft drop ceiling over my kitchen island. But, once it was installed and hooked up (a major undertaking), I have been absolutely thrilled with every aspect of it.
