Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I would like to have seen the hood made of a little bit thicker stainless steel, probably not necessary but I like extra heavy duty things. This seems although, to be a well made stove vent. Very quiet and powerful. Nice looking stainless steel.
Bright halogen lighting and quality controls offering a lot of flexability of fan speeds on both fan motors. I build houses for a living and have used many different name brands of range vents and I believe this is the best one I have used to date. Will definitely buy it again.
