While the VTR 1330 is expensive and a bit more challenging to install, putting the blower, and its concomitant noises outside the house, out of the kitchen, is well worth it. Consider the difference before purchasing ventilation-- the difference between having the blower in the house/ventilating hood and outside the house. It also allows for a sleeker profile on the Thermador hood (HNI). This German double blower provides 1300 CFM's, one of the most powerful. But remember, the more power, the more noise too.
