Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This fan works great, but be aware that the blower fan mounts on the outside of the roof. You will probably have to have someone install it and the ductwork connecting the fan to the unit over the range. Installation will add signficantly to the total cost. Once installed unit works great; not as quiet as one might expect, because much of the noise is from air turbulence not the fan.
Be sure to have a location to mount the blower that is inconspicous.
