Buy this microwave if you are sick of the plain-Jane looking regular over the stove microwave! The biggest thing going for this model is that it opens like the old time ovens, and compliments the matching model refrigerator (which I have dubbed "the Battle Star Gallatica" due to the cool lighting when you open this giant) Their a a bunch of features, but it lacks the detailed cooking options of my G2 micro oven, (such as a halogen heat lamp, or the ability to make crispy patatos in that great crisping pan) but most people never use those features, and I think the new models are close to twice the price of this oven. It has a neat side to side sliding rack, a turbo fan setting, and most importantly it has a realitivly quiet setting when the fan is on low. The controls are easy to use, and clean. It was a simple install, although it is just a few inches in height higher than a stanard large unit, and by the way, this is not to be purchaed by short people, as it can open higher than their reach. I love this think, and I am very demanding on the design and performance of everything. I love detail and gagets. This is a wonderful example of industrual design.

I just love the softening feature. When I would bake and needed softened butter or cream cheese it was always a hassle and time consuming. Now I just pop it in my new microwave... and it is ready to go in seconds!!!
