Worst Racks on the Planet

Pros:

Very Pretty to Look At

Cons:

Cannot fill efficiently, Give me my Asko back, Noisy, Stemware holder too low, Tines go every which way, Tines spaced too close, Useless for potspans, Worst designed racks ever

Best Uses:

Delicate Items, Larger Kitchens, Pots and Pans, Racks don't fit all uses, Smaller Kitchens

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We chose matching Viking appliances for a smallish kitchen. This Viking dishwasher is the worst dishwasher we have ever had. The racks are so unloadable that I need to run it at least once or more each day and there are only two of us! Pots, pans, serving dishes and baking dishes do not fit the racks. We wash a lot of crystal stemware and cannot load many pieces. The tines are too close together and they point in the oddest directions I can't imagine who thought this weird configuration up - probably someone who never entered a kitchen other than to sit down and eat. If we can't find other racks to fit this dishwasher we will have to sell this one and buy another Asko. We loved our Askos and I should have done more in depth research when buying this time. Shame on me. I'll never buy or recommend a Viking again!
