Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The electrolux icon is a good cooktop. It takes some getting used to. It is labor intensive to clean. The ceramic top had some minor imperfections in it but not enough to really complain about. The small ring selector for the center large burner does not have the precise movement that the main burner controls have...a little sloppy in selection. It was very simple to hook up. The more we use it, the better we like it.
