Both my husband and I cook a lot. We don't eat out and we rarely use the oven and the microwave. We're both Italians so we cook tons of pasta and pasta's sauces. We also use it to sear fish and meats, cooking soups and vegetables. After 6 months of use, we believe we found the perfect compromise (price vs.quality). The only thing I'm a little bit annoyed is its cleaning, not difficult but not the easiest as well. But again I went and saw a dozen of similar cooktops and the cleaning problem was the same for all of them, besides those other cooktops were so much more expensive without offering anything different that I can definitively settle with cleaning that takes a little more time.
