Comments about Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer - 3 Cups:

It is always a relief when an appliance does what it's supposed to, and this one certainly does. But it's the "and more" that is so surprising and delightful. The cheerful chiming melodies— no strident industrial-grade beeps or buzzers — at the start and finish make operating the Zojirushi weirdly rewarding ... almost like a pet's response. The fact that I feel I can trust it, and can therefore go about my business without worrying or tending is wonderful. And it is simply perfectly designed ... the look is great — your eye just glides over it in the kitchen. No bulk to disturb the flow of line. And when your eye does rest on it, it's pleasing. I have read reviews where people do all kinds of adventurous things with it (recipes other than rice!) and I'm looking forward to trying them. For now, I'm just so pleased with the basics. I'm also looking forward to packing the 2 implements inside, and toting it by it's clever little handle out to the car and off to the country for weekends — light as a feather!
