It's a pretty good toaster - but not exceptional. I like the digital countdown feature, and it seems to heat pretty quickly and evenly. I tried the defrost and bagel settings together on a couple leftover frozen bagels, and it seemed to work better to just zap'em in the microwave first - and I like both sides toasted, instead of using the one-side bagel setting (just my preference).

Definitely makes better toast than my previous toaster oven. The footprint was larger than I was picturing, and I would prefer it was brushed stainless instead of chrome - but you can't have everything :-)

I may have returned it, but the hassle/cost of shipping it back didn't seem worth it since I was specifically looking for a stainless long/wide slot toaster - which is hard to find for some reason.

I like everything about this toaster. I am very careful pushing the lever to lower bread as the other brand I had before (similar style), broke easily.
