The only drawback to this great little machine is the fact that you have to clean the unsubmersible section by hand. Other than that it is just what I've been looking for to replace my old Oster grinder which lasted for 15 years. I'm thrilled to find something that works just as well, if not better. It makes mincing herbs, garlic, spices a breeze.
