Comments about Breville The Smart Oven Convection Toaster:

I love this oven. I used to have a black and decker toaster oven that recently died and this is soooo much better. I have cooked frozen pizzas, a 6 lb. turkey, cookies, toast, bagels, chicken--everything I would normally cook in my regular oven turns out great in this oven and cooks much quicker. I love that it preheats so quickly. It takes about 4 min. to get to 350 degrees and 5 min. to get to 450 compared to 15-20 min. for my regular oven. Therefore, you're saving a lot of energy. Foods are also done much quicker if you use the convection function. I like the digital display so I can see exactly how much time is left. The oven actually turns off when the timer goes off, which I'm not sure I actually like because I'm used to setting the timer for the least amount of time to check the food, but it's not really a huge problem and I'm used to it now. You just have to know that when the timer goes off, you need to check and add more time if necessary and restart it. BTW, the timer is a really nice beeping sound and not at all annoying. I like that it comes with the pizza pan, baking/broiler pan. I wish it also came with the pizza stone--I think Breville is coming out with one in May. I think I'll buy one soon because when you cook the cookies and bread on the pizza pan, the bottoms get too dark since the pan is dark. There are 3 places to put the rack, the bottom is for baking, the middle is for pizzas and toasting and has a magnetic part that pulls the rack out so you don't burn your hand, and the top is for broiling. You have to be careful not to get burned because the whole oven is stainless and gets very hot on the outside. I wouldn't let children get close. Some people may think it's big, but it wasn't any bigger than my last toaster oven, and it's well worth the space if you consider you're rarely going to have to use your big oven. I highly recommend this oven.

    Service & Delivery comments:

It took a week longer to arrive than I had expected and I wish I had been notified of that. I called to speak with customer service and was told that the manufacturer hadn't shipped them the ovens yet so that was why it was late being shipped out. The lady I spoke with was very nice, but I had to wait about 10 min. to talk with her. When the oven was shipped, they sent me an email letting me know so I could track it which was nice.
