This is a very nice trash can. I've even gotten compliments on it. I have found it will take a standard 13 gallon trash bag and it fits just as well, completely hidden from sight on the outside of the trash can. The bag, when ready to empty, fills all the way up to the top which is a great feature. I do wonder how long the hinged lid will last with repeated kitchen use however it does have a 10 yr. warranty. This product is a bit pricey but overall I am very pleased with it.
