The glasses are gorgeous. They are the most beautiful color purple you have ever seen in glass. They are strong, but not too heavy or clunky like some trumpet flutes can be. The stem is not smooth, but is a hexagon. This makes gripping easier and adds a bit of decoration to an otherwise forgotten part of most glasses.
