These dishes contribute an air of relaxed sophistication to a well executed meal. The overall tablescape is lovely; not too feminine in design, the shapes lend themselves to the sensibilities of the men in my life, and the color palette is my favorite. Consequently, we all win. I am heartbroken that the pattern is no longer being produced; I must, therefore, refrain from using this as every day china, although it could easily have been the pattern of choice.
