I bought these bowls to use as my everyday dinnerware. We have lots of people over for meals, so we wanted dishes that were simple yet attractive, and that we wouldn't be too upset about chipping or breaking. These work perfectly. They're a nice size and shape and aren't too heavy. On the downside, one of the bowls is already chipped as a result of being dropped at a dinner party. Then again at least it didn't break.
