This set of dishes is the best I've owned. They fit any occasion and are durable without being heavy weight. We use them every day and they still look great for parties- you just dress them up with different napkins or silver. The color lends itself to everything without distracting from the food.

Really like this beautiful design. Only flaw I have found is that this line can chip or crack easily with just the wrong bump, and I am pretty gentle with my dishes. Haven't had that problem with the bowls, but I have with the plates. I guess I like them well enough to buy replacements. Would expect much more from the name MIKASA when dealing with daily use dishes.

I chose these dishes, because they are attractive, well made, and can be used casually and more formally depending on how the table is set. I can't think of one thing negative about them. I did have to wait a couple of months to get my cereal bowls, but it was worth the wait. I plan to buy more later.

Very versatile. Simple pattern that can be used everyday but with the right accesories will look terrific as a formal setting. Used daily as cereal bowl...actual cereal bowls are too large for child-size servings.[...]
