This hot pot is better than most others for brewing 1 cup of coffee at a time because the dispenser is high enough that you can fit a LARGE coffee mug and the filter cone easily beneath it. I haven't yet cleaned it inside but this is a wonderful hot water boiler-dispenser. The other nice thing is that it is always child-safe in that you have to push an unlock button before it will dispense. Altogether a wonderful household appliance.

Excellent product. It has totally changed my life. I no longer have to use the teapot and hear that horrible noise. Also, I don't have to worry about leaving the stove on. I use the pot for so many things. It is well worth the money. I have 2 --one for me and one for my parents. We both love it.
