This product meets my needs. I previously had a 4 cup pot, but only drink one cup a day,and ended up throwing away coffee. With this coffee maker I can quickly have just one cup of fresh brewed. Only negative is that I would like the coffee to be hotter, so I put the cup of brewed coffee into my microwave to heat for another minute.
