All bodies for the X1 are made of high-grade steel, cataphoretically treated (rust-proof). Sturdy and easy to use, the X1 makes its best coffee with the Easy Serving Espresso system that uses pre-ground single servings of coffee sealed in filter paper. The hot water dispenser for tea and the steam nozzle for heating milk for cappuccinos are also very easy to use.

Loved it... Until it broke the second time.
1st one lasted less than a year, electrical problem, was replaced without question by vendor. Next one lasted about 2 years until the boiler leaked & shorted the unit. Was about $100 less to fix than to buy the new Pavoni one (excellent machine!) with which I replaced it.
