The Brew Express is a built-in appliance created to complement your kitchen, not clutter it. The first thing you notice about the Brew Express is the contemporary stainless steel design that's made to harmonize with your other appliances. But there are also brains behind the beauty. Every aspect of the brewing process is controlled, from the high speed and exact temperature of the brew cycle to the electronic programming features. So every time you want a cup of coffee, you get a perfect cup of coffee. Without spilling a drop.

The revolutionary new design of the Brew Express blends style, performance, and convenience into an easy-to-use appliance that makes brewing coffee and hot beverages a pleasure instead of a burden. And because the Brew Express installs into the wall and hooks directly to your water supply, it also fits right into your life. Water is Plumbed Into This System with 2 Different Options: A) In the Wall to Your Sink or Refrigerator Area, or B) Utilizing an Everyday Bottle Dispenser and Pump (Not Included). You'll gain counter space and enjoy perfectly brewed coffee. All without spilling a drop of water.

  • All you add is coffee - The Brew Express self-fills on command, so you never add water. Then it lays down an even spread of hot water on the ground coffee beans at the perfect temperature.
  • Additional Electrical Outlets - You always need more electrical outlets, so instead of taking on away the Brew Express offers two more.
  • Programmable timer/clock - Wake up and smell the coffee! You can program the Brew Express to brew coffee and hot beverages at any time of the day.
  • Adjustable cup selector - Whether it's just you or a house full of company, the Brew Express lets you decide how much or how little coffee you want to brew. Choose from single cup, half pot, and full pot selections.
  • "Pause & Brew" - The carafe can be safely removed while brewing, so you can get that first cup of coffee fast. If you forget to replace the carafe, no worries, the Brew Express will shut off automatically in five minutes.
  • Stainless Steel Carafe - This go-anywhere carafe keeps your coffee warm and fresh tasting for hours. It's attractive and is equally at home on your countertop or your dining room table.
  • Cool Stainless Steel Pad - It's not a warmer. In fact, the only thing this pad does is keep the carafe positioned under the brew basket. Because it never gets hot, it's completely safe - no burned coffee or fingers.
  • More Counter Space - One of the most remarkable things about this coffee maker is what it doesn't do take up space. The Brew Express is built in the wall, giving you more room on the counter.
  • Can the Brew Express be installed on an outside wall? - Yes, but the installer/owner should be concerned about freezing conditions. If it is a 2 x 4 outer wall, it is not suggested. If it is a 2 x 6 wall then insulation can be added to offset the freezing. If freezing is still an issue, firing the wall out is another option. It should be noted that all installations on exterior walls are at the risk of the owner/contractor.
  • Why isn't the outlet on the Brew Express Ground Fault protected? - UL advised not to Ground Fault the outlet because it may result in confusion with the reset button, used with excessive load. UL asked us to turn off the outlet during brew time by way of relay. This would cause outlet to be tripped, and also if used it would be used like a breaker. Instead UL recommend we connect the Brew Express to a power source that is GFCI protected. This can be done by means of connection to a nearby outlet that is connected to GFCI, or if direct line connection, then a breaker can be GFCI protected easily. Our unit draws 12 amps for 7 minutes maximum. Most other counter appliances are the same, such as a bread machine.
  • Is it required to filter the water? - Yes, & No. Yes, if there is no other filter on the water system. If the water is not filtered, sediment could eventually clog the valve, and the warranty is voided. No the filter is not required if the house has a system-wide filter, or if a water jug is being used.
  • What type of Filter is required? - A simple icemaker style filter will work. Make sure to read the filter’s instructions to purge the water. There are several filters on the market, like the GE Smart Filter that is easy to install under the sink. Lance-Larkin is going to offer a filter and water installation kit very soon. The units are in stock and we are preparing the full kit that includes valve, waterline, and filter. The main issue with the filter is sediment and taste.
  • What if the builder didn't read the instruction manual and just installed the rough-in box? - The first question to ask is; is it to be on the counter, or just a wall area? If it is to be on a counter of a new project, reading instructions will be a big benefit when you consider uneven floors, or shims on cabinets, or changing countertop materials (Formica to granite), or changing floor finish materials. This is all discussed in the manuals. It is highly recommend that the builder read instructions! Also, the template provided can be a great aide in the installation process.
  • Water Pressure: What is minimum and maximum water pressure? - The Brew Express specifications sheet states, 30 psi to 120 psi. If it is lower than 30 psi, the pressure sensor will not allow the unit to work. You will get a "EEEE" message. This can mean no water, low pressure, or your filter is plugged.
  • What about RO or Reverse Osmosis system? - Yes, we believe our system will run fine, but again water pressure must be met.
  • What about full height back splash? - Yes, you should read the manual for this. It is simple, to cut drywall out to fit the rough-in-box (RIB) then remove RIB, and install backsplash around opening, then re-install RIB for final installation.

Nothing's easier than this cofee maker. It comes with a trace and cut template for installation and includes two electrical outlets to replace the outlet being removed for wiring in the maker. I wish I'd purchased it long before now.

It's great not messing with water in the carafe to get it ready to brew. Just fill the basket with coffee and choose 2 cups, half carafe, or full carafe. Water automatically fills. It was fairly easy to install and It saves a lot of room on the counter. [...] I love the coffee maker, but it is very expensive, [$]Hopefully it will be long lasting.

Comments about Brew Express The Brew Express Built-in Coffee Maker - BE112:

A poorly designed pantry/wetbar between our kitchen and den looked cluttered from both sides. I took down the dusty glass shelves, mirrored back wall and glassware; tiled the wall and installed this coffee maker and it's now the focal point of both rooms. It looks fantastic and very rich and will add significant value to our home. The coffee tastes great but you have to remember to empty the pot as you can't see inside. Otherwise as I found out twice so far, it will overflow when it brews. Brews hotter than Mr. Coffee types and stays hot for hours. Did all the work myself, no problem. Great, high quality product.

Comments about Brew Express The Brew Express Built-in Coffee Maker - BE112:

This product is everything it is represented to be. We really love it! It was installed in our free standing coffee bar that didn't have alot of counter space. We installed it in the wall to the right of the counter, but up high enough to allow the cups to be placed next to it and still pour. This increased our available counter space so much! Initial installation was easy to understand, but still a little time consuming. It was worth it.
