The right cooling rack makes a difference in the finishing of your baked goods. The Masters Collection™ Cooling Rack was designed using the experience of the Certified Master Chefs at The Culinary Institute of America. The chrome-plated steel construction provides super-sturdy support. The six feet on the bottom keep the rack evenly raised for proper air circulation and fast cooling. The tightly spaced grid pattern prevents baked goods from sinking or falling through, and allows them to slide easily off the rack when cooling is completed. Designed to fit inside the 13" x 18" Nonstick Jelly Roll Pan for use in decorating pastries with powdered sugar or glazes.

I used this product to cool veggies after I roasted them.It did a great job and even saved space as I placed it into my roasting pan as it cooled. I read about this product in Cooks Illustrated, they suggested using it in congunction with a baking pan to broil foods as well. I haven't tried it yet but I'm excited to try it. It's nice its got double duty as I'm limited on space.

I use this product inside a jelly roll pan for the 2 things below:

keeping cooked pancakes ready for a crowd

cooking bacon at 400 degrees on the rack which makes the bacon crspy

This sturdy cooling rack was recommended [...]. The test kitchen was very impressed with the performance of this rack by CIA. Its great having a rack that cookies don't fall through. Also the rack is large enough to use in my jelly roll pan to bake a rack of ribs or French fries. Seems to be very well constructed. It was pricey,[$], yes, a bit much, hopefully, I will get many years use of it, then I will feel I got my money's worth! Another reviewer said she got 4 for the price, I believe that was a mistake, because I received only one and there was no indication that it was a set.

Thought it was kind of pricy, but took the plunge anyways. When it arrived it turned out to be a set of 4!! Much more reasonable. That detail should be included in the product description
