received this for christmas and am not disappointed. this is ideal for small soldering jobs that will be quick. it does take a little longer than 15 seconds to fully heat up. its a little awkward to continually press a button to stay on instead of a switch but its not to bad. i've used this to fix some kids toys and repaired the wifes hairdryer switch and it has worked perfectly. overall this is a good product if you are looking for a quick, small repair tool without the long wait for corded soldering irons to heat up.
