A quiet, powerful, belt-driven benchtop saw by a reputable manufacturer in the low [$]? Doesn't get much better than this.I was considering the new Bosch saw for my newly-formed home improvement company, but the size and cost were big drawbacks for me. I needed a saw I could lug around easily, and fit in the truck with the rest of my traveling workshop.I went with this Jet benchtop model, and I've been nothing but impressed with it ever since. I put it on the Bosch table saw stand (had to cut some plywood for a mounting plate) and it's perfect.The only fault I could find was the skimpy miter gauge that has a little too much wiggle to it for my preferences. But, that's what the miter saw is for.OK, because of that, I'll drop the request for the sixth star and just go with five.
