Comments about Rikon 50-120 6" x 48" x 10" Sander:

I shopped around for a table belt sander for several weeks only to be very disappointed in what's available in my price range. Was trying to find something decent around 500.00. After laughing at what [...] had (Their power tools have drastically gone downhill) I went to the local [...]. I found them online and they carried Rikon equipment as well as others. I ended up paying [$] for the RIKON 6" Belt 10" Disc Sander Model 50-120. Very well made and actually does what they advertise. The offset wheel is a big plus in my opinion as it frees up the use of the whole table top. Very heavy so it won't walk around on the bench even without securing it. One of the best tool warranties also as it is a 3 year and they are easy to deal with. Haven't had to use that feature but nice to know they take pride in their equipment. Very well made and easy to adjust. Belt changes are simple and only take about 2 minutes. The one knob tracking adjustment is about as simple as they come and works great. All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will be looking at adding more tools from Rikon to my shop. Not very often do I have such a positive experience with purchase but this one is a keeper.
