It took 2 and a half hours to assemble. The manual was a little confusing. I downloaded a picture of the spreader from the internet and that made it easier to assemble. I have used it 3 times to spread fertilizer and limestone. My 19 HP lawn tractor pulls it easily (yard has slight slope)and it spreads evenly. There is a rough guide for figuring spreader settings included but it is more of a trial and error to determine what settings to use. As I use it more, I am getting better at determining the proper spreader setting. As far as using it, it does a very good job. I am glad that I purchased it.
