When we finally plumbed water up to our deck, I wanted something nice to house the garden hose. This pot is both attractive and practical. It complements the decor on the deck as well.

[...]This lid was a little warpt, but the heat of the sun sorted it out. It is a very light pot, so when you pull the hose out the pot doesn't stay in place. When reeling the hose back up, it gets a little difficult.

I just purchased a condo and had to give up most of my plants, as I now live on the 2nd floor with a balcony. I basically use this to store my hose, since we're not allowed to mount anything on the exterior building. It serves the purpose, though it's not easy to roll the hose back into the pot.

The concept was solid. Wait for version 2. Expensive for it's features. I would like to see it sold with stakes to anchor it to the ground. There is no space for storage of a spray gun,extra washers etc. The rated hose size it accomidates depends on he quality of the hose. My expensive hose hangs out 10' where my cheap hose reels up all the way. I'm off to buy some tent stakes.
