This was a replacement order. My first hosehandler lasted over 15 years with only a few parts replaced. This latest model has improvements, one improvement was a part I had to replace in the older model.

I thought the hose guide would move across the bar to keep the hose going in the right place, but it doesn't. I have had one that did and it is really slick. Also, the ad said the reel would hold 120-150 ft. of hose, but my hose is 100 ft. and reel is full. I would gladly pay more a product just like this made of a tougher materials and arrived ready to use....no assembly necessary. My husband wasn't happy about the price, but he'll get over it. However, having to assemble it was a problem. Also liked that it was wall mounted. My husband built a frame (years ago) to mount my hose reels. It bolts into the concrete then the reel bolts to it. It is very stout and doesn't touch the siding. You could sell such a product. Also love the little area on top to set nozzles, fertilizer, and such. [...]......thanks.
