This is a complete hunter's pruning kit that features a relescoping pole. It adjusts from two feet to five feet, to clear overhead limbs around camp. The pruning head (and compound pulley) can cut up to one-inch diameter limbs. The saw cuts even bigger. The rugged nylon case carries the whole works.

Nylon pull cord kept getting caught under cutting blade return spring. Nylon pull cord stretches excessively. About as useful as a rubber bend. Not very effective in cutting anything over 5/8". To make it work properly, I had to bend over the top of the spring and replace the pull cord with a lawn mower cord. I carry an extra mower cord and piggyback it as the length of a mower cord is just a little short for the third extension. All in all, it prunes but with a name like Gerber Tools you just expect more.
