I have used it for 3 years and have cut approximately 50-60 cords of wood with it and have had no problems. I heat with wood only, and have found that it is lacking the power that I want. For most occasional users, it is a great saw for the $.

Bought this saw in September. Saw lasted for a total of about 2 hours before sputtering to death. It was hard to start out of the box and never fully came alive again. Rope constantly tangles requiring disassembly, engine locks up requiring manually forcing it to turn over before you can start, acceleration is poor and often causes stalling, etc. It looks great and all of the specs make it a good deal for the price but it isn't worth the box it was shipped in.
