StudSensor Pro Scanning Stud/Joist Locator
Features

Patented dual-sensitivity scanning to find studs behind thicker walls.

StudSensor™ Pro finds the edges of studs and joists up to 3/4 inches (19 mm) deep in normal mode.

In Zircon's patented DeepScan® mode, StudSensor Pro can find studs up to 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) deep behind drywall, paneling, or plywood, or a combination of them, and through most bare wood flooring.

A bright LED tells you when DeepScan is active. When you detect the edge of a wood or metal stud, it is indicated by an audio tone and an LED array.

Comments about Zircon StudSensor Pro Scanning Stud/Joist Locator - 58050/56415:

This little contraption beeps constantly, no matter where it is placed on the wall...BUT, try to find the same stud twice and it clams up.
