Comments about Hi-Tech Electronic Circuit Detective Circuit Breaker Identifier - HTP6:

I purchased this model Circuit Detective in Nov.'05. Since then I have yet to see it detect a correct circuit. I have followed the directions to the letter to no avail. I returned my unit to the company (Hi-Tech) and asked for a replacement under the "lifetime warranty" only to be told that there was nothing wrong with my unit which they then returned to me. I had high hopes for the circuit detective and actually believed the hype about their different technology. My recommendation is to save your money and have a friend (spouse, child, neighbor, etc) give a hollar when the light, or whatever is plugged into a certain circuit goes out as you flip the breakers.
