Ditto to all of the above. I bought one at HD, plugged it in: nothing. I read the minimalistic directions and tried again. Nothing. I took it all apart. Nothing. I then realized, hmm....this item had been previously purchased and returned by another customer (had half a clip of brads in it "new from the box" and was missing the plastic nose gaurd.

Took it back. Got another one.

Worked fine putting small (1/2 thick" trim around interior of window frame. Then I had the audacity to try it on crown molding. I got 6 brads in (well, sort of in -- most were proud) before it died.

Please Arrow, don't have such high disregard for those few people who actually still (used to) buy your products.

Comments about Arrow Fastener Co. 1-1/4IN Brad Nailer - ET200:

I bought this because I wanted an inexpensive power nailer for odd jobs around the house and an occasional woodworking project. I don't find it easy to hold two pieces of wood and a nail in one hand and hammer on it without bending the nail, marring the wood or crunching my thumb. True, it doesn't sink the nails but, as far as I'm concerned, it does the hard part which is driving a small nail straight and true. The easy part is sinking the nail into or flush with the work. I can sink the nails easily into pine by placing my free hand firmly on the top of the nailer. It may cause some slight marring so the choice is yours.
I haven't had the nailer long enough to comment on its longevity but it works well and seems to be fairly well made.

Comments about Arrow Fastener Co. 1-1/4IN Brad Nailer - ET200:

I bought this brad nailer for thin bead board paneling and trim work. I paid over $[...] for it,used it lightly, kept it in the box,and took very good care of it.From the start I had to finish driving the brads in the paneling and half the time no brads would even come out. It completely stopped working before I used up half of the 1500 count box of brads I bought with it. I used it very little. It still looks brand new.
I would not buy another one.
