The fortress is a great name for this product. It has taken care of the squirrel problem we've had with feeders. Unfortunately birds cannot figure out how to get at the seed as a result of the design. The feeder has now been full and completely untouched for a month. I will end up throwing this away and moving on to another solution.

The seed openings are a bit too large when using hulless bird seed. I had to lower the metal stand so the seed would not fall out too easily.

This is the best anti-squirrel bird feeder I have found. Try as they might, squirrels eventually give up on this feeder and stay away. Small birds can enter under the plastic cover, feed and stay dry, but unfortunately larger birds cannot. Hopper holds a lot of seed so you don't have to refill as often. Don't drop it when its full because the plastic parts crack easily. Overall a good product if you have a squirrels stealing your seed!
