Top glass came loose in shipping & was very difficult to get back in because of the clips that hold the glass slides in place. Product does come without bottom "filter" for the light, and since it's usually installed above your head, that's harsh. (We fashioned and easily inserted an opaque plastic cut-to-fit that does the trick.) This light really lights up our entry corridor, and the bulb gives it a very white, daylight effect.
