Outsized lanterns mounted on pillars; arches illuminated by indirect lights; dramatic hanging candelabra in the portico; coach lanterns on either side of your entry - all of these and so many more type of outdoor lighting are today's options.

Retired at last is the old "front porch light." Gone, thankfully, is the dim and tacky light over the garage door, a fixture that never did give enough light to find your way to your entry. Now you have all the choices, dramatic or subtle. You can coordinate outdoor lights to your interior décor, or you can select the understated appeal of lighting that blends without being noticed.

All have threaded opal glass shades that screw into the fitter, with vapor-proof gaskets and porcelain sockets.

Two light wall fixture with threaded opal glass shades that screw onto fitter. Vapor-proof gaskets and porcelain sockets. Mounts horizontally or vertically.

Comments about Progress Lighting Cast Aluminum Satin Two-Light Wall Fixture (13'' H) - P5512-16:

I bought 4 of these lights (3 previously, then I realized I needed one more). They are made of plastic and metal. The plastic part looks like glass. The design looks great on a mid-century modern house, plus it's not what everyone else has when they rehab these old houses.
I did not install them; a professional did.
