this is a light weight fixture and easy for the do-it-yourselfer. The only thing I do not like is there seems to be no light bulb (globe or otherwise) that is big enough to make it look the best. I would have liked it better if it had a glass globe that attached to the shade like another fixture I have. But all that said it is very cute over my kitchen table.
