This is a very good timer. It has a large face for easy to read time. It is easy to program. Plus I like the fact it also has an untimed outlet as well as a timed outlet.

I wanted to use this product to time household lamps for appropriate on and off times. I had to return to mechanical timers because these timers have no overide for dark days.

I had the older 'dial' timers and just got tired of trying to figure out the exact time. I love the digital clock aspect of this timer. So far it is working just as expected.

These were wonderful replacements for former mechanical timers. Having the digital timer is a real time saver. The simple switch to and from Daylight Savings Time is a bonus. I'm hopeful these will use less energy than the old mechanical ones as well.

I bought this timer for my husband who kept buying the old-fashioned pin-type timers. He complained about the 1-hour increments and small pins. He uses the timer to control the lighting for our 100+ finches in our indoor aviary. If the lights aren't timed properly, the poor little birds would either sleep too much or expend too much energy. This timer was a cinch to set up with multiple on-off times and we'll never use those other timers again!

I haven't had the timer's (I purchased three) very long, but initially they seem to work fine with the lamps they monitor. I was pleased with the ease of programing.
