It sounds impossible or dangerous to pressure cook in a microwave, but this NordicWare well-made "Tender Cooker" makes it safe, very fast, and perfect for those wanting quick, delicious meals. Throw in the ingredients, close the unit, slip it into microwave, set time, and you're done. No waiting for ideal pressure, lowering heat, etc. 20 to 30 minutes later you're enjoying tender, fall-apart beef stew, lamb or chicken that tastes intensely flavored. Remarkable product that saves energy. And IT IS MADE IN AMERICA. That alone is amazing these days. And it is very well-made.
