very useful for breakfast sandwiches. The only difficulty is that I can't put both pieces in the microwave I have now at the same time. If I could, I would have rated it "perfect". I have had this bacon cooker 20 years and have been using it steadily all this time. It just broke now, so the durability is excellent.
