Comments about Nordic Ware Cinnamon Streusel Bundt Mix:

I had much higher hopes for this mix. I followed the directions and was NOT pleased. The box comes with 2 packs. 1 for the cake and 1 for the streusel. You reserve 1/4 of the cake mix to mix with the streusal pack, then pour it on top of the mix in the bundt pan and swirl it in.

My issues were many:
1) was told to grease and flour bundt pan, I did and it still stuck to the pan A LOT! When I finally got it out, the cake had a couple of areas that had "chunks" missing.

2) The streusal baked into the cake as if it was just a cinmaon cake mixture. There was not a nice "crumbly" stresusal layer anywere.

3) Cake was very dense/heavy - NOT light/airy.

4) Picture on box shows a nice glaze on top of cake. That was not included in the box. If you want to glaze the cake, there is a recipe on the side of the box advising you to mix confectioners sugar and milk etc. to make the glaze. (I felt this was deceptive/false advertising!)

I re-read the directions and I followed them and won't be buying one of these again!
