MOUNTING THIS SWITCH ON THE SINK OR COUNTERTOP SURFACE MAKES ACCESS SIMPLER THAN REACHING FOR A SWITCH MOUNTED ON THE WALL. IT IS WORTH THE ADDITONAL EXPENSE TO GET THIS AND INSTALL IT WITH YOUR DISPOSAL..ONE MINOR IMPROVEMENT WOULD BE TO MAKE THE SHAFT LONGER TO FACILITATE MOUNTING ON A MARBLE/GRANITE COUNTER TOP.
