With 6 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 grandchildren, we wanted a practical cushiony rug. Although this rug is described as "contemporary" on some sites, I find it to have more of a "lodge look". The earth tones and great design are very attractive without being overwhelming, as some rugs seem to be. It's very dense...a quality rug! Perfect for our needs...thanks, Dalyn!
